Giulia Zanzarella
CV
Giulia Zanzarella (she/her) is a type, graphic and editorial designer based in Turin (IT), working with analogue processes and digital tools.

She lives and works in Turin, where she collaborates with Archivio Tipografico and the in-house studio 23.56.

She holds an MA in Type Design (ECAL - école cantonale d’arts de Lausanne), graduated in 2025.

She designs letterforms, punctuation, numbers and ornaments that gradually assemble into words, sentences and printed matter.
Her practice moves between minutiae and macro, spanning typeface design, layouts, books and printed ephemera. It involves prolonged observation of lettershapes, pages and grids, blurring the boundaries between reading and drawing.
Her work explores typographic systems and type specimens not only as displays of form but as active narrative devices.
